2017 Adelaide Football Club Season
The 2017 Adelaide Football Club season is the 27th season in the Australian Football League and the 1st season in the AFL Women's competition contested by the Adelaide Football Club. AFL List changes Matthew Jaensch, who suffered a knee injury in round 7 of 2015, had not played a game for the rest of that season and decided to retire from AFL at the beginning of the 2016 season. Former captain Nathan van Berlo also decided to retire at the end of 2016 after struggling to get a spot in the AFL team. He finished out the season playing in the SANFL finals campaign. The Crows also delisted Luke Lowden and Keenan Ramsey at the end of the season. The only trade that the Crows were involved in was that of midfielder Jarryd Lyons, who was traded to . Adelaide Football Club
The Adelaide Crows (officially the Adelaide Football Club) are a professional Australian rules football team based in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1990. Darren Robert Jarman (born 28 January 1967) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club and Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), and for the North Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). TAC Cup
The NAB League Boys (also referred to as simply the NAB League and formerly known as the TAC Cup) is an under-19 Australian rules football representative competition held in Australia. It is based on geographic regions throughout country Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne with each team representing twelve Victorian regions, while a thirteenth team from Tasmania was reintroduced in 2019. The competition is sponsored by National Australia Bank (NAB), having previously been sponsored by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) since its inception. Jordan Gallucci
Jordan Gallucci (born 4 May 1998) is a former professional Australian rules footballer, last playing for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by Adelaide with their first selection and fifteenth overall in the 2016 national draft. He made his debut in the eighty point win against the at the Gabba in round nine of the 2017 season. Early life Gallucci grew up in the hills to the east of Melbourne. Sam Shaw (footballer)
Sam Shaw (born 5 April 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited with pick 45 in the 2009 AFL draft, 2009 national draft from Xavier College and the Oakleigh Chargers. Playing career Shaw's first two seasons in the AFL, 2010 and 2011, were ravaged by multiple injuries that prevented him from playing consecutive SANFL games until late in 2011. Mitch Grigg (born 2 January 1993) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited from Norwood Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) with selection 41 in the 2011 national draft.
