The 2017 Australian Football League finals series was the 121st annual edition of the VFL/AFL final series, the Australian rules football tournament staged to determine the winner of the 2017 AFL Premiership Season. The 2017 AFL Grand Final was an Australian rules football game contested between the Adelaide Football Club and the Richmond Football Club at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 30 September 2017. It was the 122nd annual AFL Grand Final, grand final of the Australian Football League (formerly the Victorian Football League) staged to determine the List of AFL premiers, premiers for the 2017 AFL season. Brett Rosebury (born 19 March 1980) is an Australian rules football field umpire in the Australian Football League (AFL). He has umpired 418 career games in the AFL since his debut in Round 13, 2000, as of the end of the 2017 season. He umpired his 350th AFL game in Round 4, 2017, in a match between GWS and Port Adelaide. Jeff Dalgleish is an Australian rules football field umpire in the Australian Football League. Based in Western Australia, Dalgleish began umpiring in 1999 in the East Fremantle Juniors and the Western Australian Amateur Football League. Sam Jacobs (born 10 April 1988) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Greater Western Sydney Giants, Adelaide Crows and Carlton Blues in the Australian Football League (AFL). The AFL Grand Final is an Australian rules football match to determine the premiers for the Australian Football League (AFL) season.
