2017 4. Divisjon
The 2017 season of the ''4. divisjon'', the fifth highest association football league for men in Norway. Between 22 and 26 games (depending on group size) were played in 24 groups, with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Group winners were promoted to the 3. divisjon. The 2017 season was the 112th season of competitive association football, football in Norway. The season began in March, and ended in December with the 2017 Norwegian Football Cup Final. Kvik Halden FK 2
Norwegian reserve football teams compete at all levels of league football within the Norwegian football league system apart from the top two divisions, Eliteserien and 1. divisjon. The highest league these teams can currently enter is the 2. divisjon, set at the third tier of the league system. The reserve teams are attached to their first teams with a "2" suffix and must play in a lower league than the first team. Furthermore, if a club's first team plays in the 1. divisjon, the reserves team cannot play in the 2. divisjon either. If a reserve team ends up at a promotion spot when it is not allowed to be promoted, the promotion is awarded to best following team in the league standings which is allowed to be promoted. Also, a reserve team is forcefully relegated, regardless of the final league position, if it is no longer qualified for playing at that level - i.e. if the first team is relegated to a league level where the reserve team's level is no longer allowed. Røa IL
Røa IL is a Norwegian sports club from Røa in the borough of Vestre Aker, Oslo. It was founded on 11 November 1900, and has sections for football, gymnastics, bandy, and cross-country skiing. Football, bandy, and Nordic skiing have been dominant in Røa. In bandy, the team has twice made it to the finals in the Norwegian cup, losing both to arch-rivals Stabæk. In skiing, the two foremost names are Olav Hansson, world champion team large hill ski jumping in the 1982 World Ski Championships and Martin Johnsrud Sundby, a Norwegian national team cross-country skier who won the FIS Cross-Country World Cup and the Tour de Ski in 2013–14. The biggest success so far is probably the women's football team. While Røa was open for women participating in handball and gymnastics, football was frowned upon for quite some time. Vestli Idrettslag was a Norwegian sports club from Stovner borough, Oslo. It had sections for association football, team handball and tennis. It was founded on 19 October 1972. The club colors were green and white. The men's handball team formerly played in the highest Norwegian league. Players include Bjarte Myrhol and Kristian Kjelling. The men's football team played in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of Norwegian football, for many years. It formerly cooperated to prop up an umbrella team called Groruddalen BK, but this team went defunct in 2008. Its last outing in the 3. divisjon came in 2012. Rommen Sportsklubb was a Norwegian sports club from Stovner borough, Oslo. It had sections for association football and team handball. The club was founded on 24 November 1997 as a merger between ''Smedstua IL'' and Stovnerkameratene BK. It counted the founding date of Smedstua, 20 August 1970, as its founding date. The club colors were green and white. The men's football team played in the Third Division, the fourth tier of Norwegian football.
