2016–17 Texas State Bobcats Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Texas State Bobcats women's basketball team represented Texas State University in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bobcats, led by fifth year head coach Zenarae Antoine, played their home games at Strahan Coliseum and were members of the Sun Belt Conference. They finished the season 16–15, 11–7 in Sun Belt play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt women's tournament to Louisiana–Lafayette. They were invited to the WBI where they lost to Eastern Washington in the first round. Zenarae Antoine
Zenarae Tshui Chu Antoine (née Pieters; born January 31, 1975) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the women's basketball team at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Zenarae Antoine is in her twelfth season as the head coach at Texas State and is the winningest coach in program history. In her first season, she led one of the best turnarounds in school history, taking a 9-20 team the year before, to 17-14 including the school's first conference tournament win since 2003. She has also led the team appearances in the Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) in 2014, 2015 and 2017. Coach Antoine led the Bobcats to the 2022–23 Sun Belt regular season championship. Ben Davis High School (BDHS) is a three-year high school in Indianapolis, Indiana. History Ben Davis was first established in 1892. The current school building was constructed in 1965. The school underwent extensive construction and renovation from 1998 to 2002 and experienced another addition of more classrooms which was completed prior to the 2007/2008 school year.
