The 2016–17 Florida Gators men's basketball team represented the University of Florida in the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Mike White (basketball)
Michael Emerson White (born March 2, 1977) is an American college basketball coach and former player. He is the head coach of the University of Georgia men's basketball team. Prior to accepting the job at Georgia, White was the head coach of the Florida Gators from 2015 to 2022 and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs from 2011 to 2015. Playing career White played at Ole Miss from 1995 to 1999. In 1995, White began his four-year collegiate career as a freshman guard for the Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team. He became a starter in the eighth game of his freshman year and remained a starter for the remainder of his four years at Ole Miss. During White's college career, he had 370 assists, the 6th highest total in Ole Miss history. The 2015–16 Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team represented Texas A&M University in the 2015–16 college basketball season. The team's head coach was Billy Kennedy, in his fifth season. The team played their home games at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas and its fourth season as a member of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 28–9, 13–5 in SEC play to win a share of the SEC regular season championship. The Northeastern Huskies men's basketball team represents Northeastern University, located in Boston, Massachusetts, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. Wakefield is a village in the town of South Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States, and the commercial center of South Kingstown. Alex James Murphy (born June 3, 1993) is an American-Finnish professional basketball player for Levanga Hokkaido of the Japan B.League. He played college basketball for Duke University, the University of Florida and Northeastern University. He is the son of former National Basketball Association (NBA) player Jay Murphy, and the brother of former NBA forward Erik Murphy. He plays for the Finnish national team. Brandone Edward Francis Ramírez (born September 10, 1994) is a Dominican professional basketball who last played for Prawira Bandung of the Indonesian Basketball League.
