2016–17 FC Barcelona Femení Season
The 2016–17 season was FC Barcelona Femení's 16th season as FC Barcelona's official women's football section. It was the last of eleven seasons managed by Xavi Llorens. Barcelona became the first Spanish team to reach the semifinals of the UEFA Women's Champions League in its fifth appearance on a row in the competition. 2016 FA WSL
The 2016 FA WSL was the sixth edition of the FA WSL since it was formed in 2010. The WSL 1 was expanded to nine teams. The WSL 2 included one team promoted from the FA Women's Premier League for the first time. The season started on 23 March and Chelsea were the defending WSL 1 champions. María Victoria Losada Gómez (born 5 March 1991) is a Spanish football midfielder who plays for AS Roma and the Spain national team. Club career 2004–2007: Development at ''La Masia'' Losada came through the ranks of Barcelona's youth development program, La Masia. Leila Ouahabi El Ouahabi (born 22 March 1993) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Women's Super League club Manchester City and the Catalonia national team. Koko Ange Mariette Christelle N'Guessan (born 18 November 1990) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays for Primera División club UDG Tenerife. FC Rosengård, formerly Malmö FF Dam (1970–2007) and LdB FC Malmö (2007–2013), is a professional football club based in Malmö, Scania, Sweden. The team was established as Malmö FF Dam in 1970. The 2015–16 UEFA Women's Champions League was the 15th edition of the European women's club football championship organised by UEFA, and the 7th edition since being rebranded as the UEFA Women's Champions League. Line Røddik Hansen (born 31 January 1988) is a Danish former footballer who played as a defender for Danish club FC Nordsjælland and the Denmark women's national team. She previously played for French club Olympique Lyon and Spanish club FC Barcelona, as well as Tyresö FF and FC Rosengård of the Swedish Damallsvenskan.
