2016–17 Charlotte 49ers Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Charlotte 49ers women's basketball team represents the University of North Carolina at Charlotte during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The 49ers, led by fifth year head coach Cara Consuegra, play their home games at Dale F. Halton Arena and are members of Conference USA. They finished the season 21–10, 12–6 in C-USA play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They advance to the quarterfinals of the C-USA women's tournament where they lost to Louisiana Tech. Despite having 21 wins, they were not invited to a postseason tournament. TD Arena
TD Arena is a 5,100 seat multi-purpose arena in Charleston, South Carolina, United States that opened in 2008 and replaced John Kresse Arena as the home of the College of Charleston Cougars basketball and volleyball teams. The South Financial Group of Greenville purchased the naming rights to the new facility and it opened in 2008 under the Carolina First Arena name. After the 2010 sale of the corporation to Toronto Dominion Bank, the arena's name changed to TD Arena. The 2016–17 Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team represented University of Wisconsin–Madison during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. 2016-17 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Rankings
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA.
