2016–17 Bradley Braves Women's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Bradley Braves women's basketball team represents Bradley University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Braves, led by first year head coach Andrea Gorski. The Braves are members of the Missouri Valley Conference and play their home games at Renaissance Coliseum. They finished the season 12–19, 7–11 in MVC play to finish in sixth place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley women's tournament where they lost to Northern Iowa. Andrea Gorski
Andrea Gorski (; born May 16, 1970) is an American basketball coach who was the head women's basketball coach at Bradley University. Playing career Gorski was a four-year point guard at Bradley, where she was a first-team all-conference selection as a senior, finishing her career in the top 10 of multiple career program records. Coaching career Gorski began her coaching career as a graduate assistant at her alma mater Bradley in 1992. She left coaching for a job outside of basketball before returning as the head coach at Ladywood High School in Michigan. At Ladywood, she coached a team that won 11 district titles in 12 seasons and was also named the Michigan coach of the year in 2005 by the Associated Press. Gorski was named the head coach at Concordia University Ann Arbor in 2008. The 2016–17 Kent State Golden Flashes women's basketball team represented Kent State University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Golden Flashes, led by first year head coach Todd Starkey, played their home games at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center, also known as the MAC Center, as members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. 16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared .
