The AZAL PFK 2016–17 season was AZAL's twelfth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and thirteenth season in their history. Shuvalan FK ( az, Şüvəlan Futbol Klubu, ) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Şüvəlan, Baku. The club was renamed four times in its short history becoming Olimpik Baku, Olimpik-Shuvalan Baku, AZAL and Shuvalan. UEFA is still recognizing the club as Olimpik-Shuvalan at European competitions. Omega Alamadine Roberts (born 12 December 1989) is a Liberian footballer who plays as a centre back. Ravan Baku FK ( az, Rəvan Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club, based in Baku, that plays in the Azerbaijan First Division. History The club was founded in 2009. Neftçi Professional Football Club ( az, Neftçi Peşəkar Futbol Klubu), commonly known as Neftçi PFK or simply Neftçi (), is an Azerbaijani football club based in the capital, Baku, that currently plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the highest tier of Azerbaijan football. Agil Mammadov (born 1 May 1989 in Nakhchivan) is an Azerbaijani professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Neftchi Baku in the Azerbaijan Premier League. Brian Fok (; born 8 March 1994) is a Nigerian-born Hong Kong footballer who plays as a centre back for Hong Kong First Division club Happy Valley.
