The 2016–17 season was AFC Wimbledon's 15th season in the club's history and ''The Dons' '' 1st season in League One following their promotion via the 2016 Football League play-offs. AFC Wimbledon
AFC Wimbledon is an English professional Association football, football club, based in London Borough of Merton, Merton, London, that plays in the EFL League Two, after being relegated from the EFL League One following the 2021–22 EFL League One, 2021–22 season. The club's home stadium is Plough Lane. The club was founded in 2002 by former supporters of Wimbledon F.C. after the Football Association allowed that club to Relocation of Wimbledon F.C. to Milton Keynes, relocate to Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, about north of Wimbledon. Hartsdown Park
Hartsdown Park is a football stadium located in Margate, Kent, England. It has been the home of Margate F.C. (known as Thanet United F.C. between 1981 and 1989) since 1929, apart from between 2002 and 2005, when the club was forced to share the grounds of other Kent clubs while protracted redevelopment work occurred. Although the football club was able to return to the stadium in 2005, redevelopment work is still at a very early stage, and many of the ground's facilities are still of a temporary nature. Margate F
Margate is a seaside town on the north coast of Kent in south-east England. The town is estimated to be 1.5 miles long, north-east of Canterbury and includes Cliftonville, Garlinge, Palm Bay and Westbrook. Crabble Athletic Ground
The Crabble Athletic Ground, also known as simply Crabble, or The Crabble is a football stadium located in the northern Dover suburb of River, Kent. It was the home of the various incarnations of Dover F.C. from 1931 until the club folded in 1983. Since then it has been the home of Dover Athletic F.C., and it was also the temporary home of Margate F.C. between 2002 and 2004, when the club's Hartsdown Park stadium was being redeveloped. The stadium has two seated stands and two covered terraces and holds a total of 5,745 fans (including 1,010 seats and 3,642 covered terracing), although in the past, crowds larger than that figure could be accommodated. Dominic Alfred Poleon is a footballer who plays as a forward for Ebbsfleet United and the Saint Lucia national team. He played youth football for Chelsea and Southend United before signing for Leeds United in August 2010. Whilst at Leeds he had loan spells with Bury and Sheffield United. Lyle James Alfred Taylor (born 29 March 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Nottingham Forest and for the Montserrat national team. Jordan Joshua M. Chiedozie (born 1 August 1994) is an English footballer who last played for Ramsgate as a forward. Career Born in Bournemouth, Chiedozie joined Bournemouth's youth system in 2007, aged 13. On 26 October 2012 he joined Dorchester Town in a one-month loan deal. Tyrone Marsh
Tyrone Kallum Marsh (born 24 December 1993) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for National League club Boreham Wood. A product of the Oxford United academy, Marsh was sent out on loan to Aylesbury in order to gain first-team experience in December 2011. Ahead of the 2012–13 season, he signed his first professional contract with Oxford, and subsequently made his first-team debut in August 2012.
