2016 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Men's Soccer Team
The 2016 Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer team represents Wake Forest University during the 2016 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. It is the 70th season of the university fielding a program. It the program's second season with Bobby Muuss as head coach. Muuss, the fourth head coach in program history, formerly coached Denver, and took over for Jay Vidovich, who left for a head coaching position with Portland Timbers 2. Bobby Muuss
Bobby Muuss is an American college soccer coach, currently serving as head coach of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer team. Career He played college soccer at Southern Connecticut State. He was an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut, helping UConn win the 2000 NCAA Championship. After being an assistant coach at Wake Forest from 2001 to 2006, Muuss was hired to be the head coach at Denver in January 2007. Brad Dunwell
Brad Dunwell (born December 31, 1996) is an American soccer player who currently plays for USL League One side Charlotte Independence. Career Youth and college Dunwell played four years of college soccer at Wake Forest University between 2015 and 2018, starting in all 91 games, scoring a single goal and tallying 14 assists. Led the Deacs to a 73-11-7 record in his four seasons, more wins than any other Division I program in that time. Dunwell received All-ACC athletic and academic honors every season along with United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team in 2018. Saint Louis Billikens Men's Soccer
The Saint Louis Billikens men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Saint Louis University. The Saint Louis Billikens compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I. Soccer is the main fall sport at SLU, which has not sponsored football since 1949. Noted for their dominance in men's collegiate soccer during the late 1950s through the mid-1970s, the Billikens have won 10 NCAA Men's Soccer Championships, the most of any men's college soccer program in Division 1. ACC Network was a syndicated package of college sports telecasts featuring football and basketball events from the Atlantic Coast Conference, produced by Raycom Sports, the sports syndication unit of Montgomery, Alabama-based Raycom Media (now owned by Gray Television). The package stemmed from a joint venture between Raycom and Jefferson-Pilot Teleproductions, which acquired the rights to ACC basketball in 1982 under the banner Raycom/JP Sports. Sam Raben (born May 11, 1997) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender. He won a gold medal with Team USA in the 2017 Maccabiah Games in Israel.
