2016 Summit League Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2016 Summit League men's basketball tournament was the post-season men's basketball tournament for the Summit League. The tournament was held from March 5–8, 2016 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The winners of the tournament, South Dakota State, received an automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA tournament. This was South Dakota State's third championship in five years. Seeds The top 8 teams in the final standings qualified for the tournament. Teams were seeded by record within the conference, with a tiebreaker system to seed teams with identical conference records. Denny Sanford Premier Center
The Denny Sanford Premier Center is an indoor arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The building is located at 1201 North West Avenue, and is connected to the Sioux Falls Arena and Sioux Falls Convention Center. The Arena's naming rights partners, and largest sponsors, are Sanford Health, First Premier Bank and Premier Bankcard.
