2016 McDonald's All-American Girls Game
The 2016 McDonald's All-American Girls Game is an All-Star basketball game that was played on March 30, 2016, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, home of the Chicago Bulls. The game's rosters featured the best and most highly recruited high school girls graduating in 2016. The game is the 15th annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game first played in 2002. 2016 Game The 2016 McDonald's Game featured one of the highest scoring games in history on the girls' side. The West ultimately ended up winning by a final score of 97-88 in overtime. This was the game's first overtime in history - boys or girls. United Center is an indoor arena on the Near West Side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is home to the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hodgenville is a home rule-class city in LaRue County, Kentucky, United States. It is the seat of its county. Hodgenville sits along the North Fork of the Nolin River. The population was 3,206 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Elizabethtown metropolitan area. Crystal Simone Dangerfield (born May 11, 1998) is an American basketball player for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). After a high school career that made her the nation's top-ranked point guard, she played college basketball for the UConn Huskies. Dangerfield was drafted in the second round of the 2020 WNBA draft by Minnesota, where she was named WNBA Rookie of the Year after leading the team in scoring. The Kentucky Wildcats women's basketball team represents the University of Kentucky in the Southeastern Conference. Plano West Senior High School (commonly West, Plano West, or PWSH) is a public high school in Plano, Texas serving high school juniors and seniors. Plano West is named after its geographic location within West Plano. The school is part of the Plano Independent School District, and enrolls students based on the locations of students' homes. Natalie Chou (born December 22, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Rheinland Lions of the 1. Damen-Basketball-Bundesliga (DBBL). Growing up in Texas, she was named a McDonald’s All-American as a high school senior in 2016. Chou played two seasons of college basketball for the Baylor Lady Bears before transferring to the UCLA Bruins. Early life Chou was born in Beaumont, Texas, to Quanli Li and Joseph Chou.
