2016 LSU Tigers Women's Gymnastics Team
The 2016 LSU Tigers gymnastics team is to represent Louisiana State University in the sport of Artistic gymnastics during the 2016 NCAA Division I women's gymnastics season. The Tigers compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They host their home meets at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the university's campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. D-D Breaux
Sara "D-D" Breaux is an American former gymnastics coach. She was the head coach of the LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team. She is regarded as the "Dean of Coaches" at Louisiana State University, having led the gymnastics team from 1978 to 2020. Breaux has an overall record of 800–410–8 () at LSU. She led her teams to thirty-five appearances in the NCAA Championships including one "Four on the Floor" (final four) finish and seven "Super Six" (top six) finishes in 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. She captured eighteen NCAA Regional titles with sixteen at LSU in 1978, 1979, 1980, 1986, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center
Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center, or Parkettes for short, is a gymnastics club located in Allentown, Pennsylvania that had its beginnings in the early 1960s with a middle school gymnastics program in Allentown that gradually grew into an intramural program and then into a facility that has produced several teams and individual gymnasts representing the United States, the Czech Republic, and Canada in international meets, including the Olympic Games. The husband and wife team Bill Strauss and Donna Strauss have served as the head coaches at Parkettes since its inception. Texas Woman's Pioneers
The Texas Woman's Pioneers (also TWU Pioneers) are the athletics teams that represent Texas Woman's University, located in Denton, Texas, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. Even though TWU accepts male students, only female sports are sponsored. The Pioneers compete as members of the Lone Star Conference in basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball, and as an independent in gymnastics. The Washington Huskies are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of Washington, located in Seattle.
