2016 FC Astana Season
The 2016 FC Astana season is the eighth successive season that the club will play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. Astana are defending Kazakhstan Premier League Champions, having been crowned Champions for the second time the previous season. They will also participate in the Kazakhstan Cup and the Champions League, entering at the Second Qualifying Stage. Astana Football Club ( kk, Astana Futbol Kluby) is a professional football club based in Astana. They play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of Kazakh football. The club's home ground is the 30,254-seat Astana Arena stadium. The club colours, reflected in their badge and kit, are sky blue and yellow. Founded as ''Lokomotiv Astana'' in 2009, the club changed its name to Astana in 2011. FC Irtysh Pavlodar
FC Irtysh Pavlodar ( kk, Ертіс Футбол Клубы, ''Ertis Fýtbol Klýby'') was a Kazakh professional football club based at the Central Stadium in Pavlodar. Irtysh won the Kazakhstan Premier league in 1993 (as ''Ansat''), 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2003. The club was also founding members of the top league and never relegated to lower levels before being dissolved. Serhiy Viktorovych Malyi ( uk, Сергій Вікторович Малий; born 5 June 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ordabasy. Born in Ukraine, he plays for the Kazakhstan national team. Career Malyi is the product of the Luhansk's sportive system. His first coach was Serhiy Kalitvintsev. FC Mordovia Saransk (russian: ФК Мордовия Саранск) is a Russian association football club from Saransk, Republic of Mordovia. Igor Sergeyevich Shitov, sometimes written Ihar Shytaw ( be, Ігар Сяргеевіч Шытаў; russian: Игорь Серге́евич Шитов; born 24 October 1986) is a Belarusian former football right back. Marin Aničić (; born 17 August 1989) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Bosnian Premier League club Sarajevo.
