2016 Cebu Local Elections
Local elections were held in Cebu on May 9, 2016, as part of the 2016 Philippine general election. Voters selected from among candidates for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the vice-governor, governor and representatives for the seven districts of Cebu (including two districts of Cebu City and the lone district of Lapu-Lapu City). Hilario Davide III
Hilario "Junjun" Perez Davide III (born August 25, 1964) is a Filipino politician and lawyer who is the incumbent vice governor of Cebu. He served as a governor of Cebu Province from 2013 to 2019. He is the son of former Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. Early life Born in Cebu City on August 25, 1964, to former Supreme Court Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. and Virginia J. Perez-Davide, both public servants. Eduardo "Eddie" Rivera Gullas Sr. (born October 13, 1930) is a Filipino politician from Cebu, Philippines.
