Western Sydney Wanderers FC
Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club (colloquially known as Western Sydney, or simply as Wanderers) is an Australian professional soccer club based in the Western Sydney region of Sydney, New South Wales. It competes in the country's premier competition, the A-League, under licence from The Australian Professional Leagues (APL). formerly under licence by the Football Federation Australia (FFA). The club had established itself as a major force in both Australia and Asia, having won one A-League Premiership and an AFC Champions League title in its history. Formed in April 2012 by FFA, Wanderers was established with a strong community focus. Scott Alexander Jamieson (born 13 October 1988) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a left back and captains for Melbourne City in the A-League. Club career Blacktown City Jamieson was born in Auburn, Sydney. He has previously played for the Blacktown City in the New South Wales Premier League and has also attended Westfields Sports High School before signing for English Premier League side Bolton Wanderers. Jaushua James Elie Sotirio (born 11 October 1995) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters. Kearyn Byron Baccus (born 5 September 1991) is a footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Macarthur FC in the A-League Men. Born in South Africa, he is a youth international for Australia. Club career Baccus joined Sydney FC's youth set-up in 2008, and in 2010 moved to Europe where he joined French side Le Mans' youth set-up, not before trialling at Mallorca and Real Sociedad in Spain. Golgol Mebrahtu (born 28 August 1990) is an Eritrean-Australian professional football player who plays as a forward. Early life Mebrahtu is of Eritrean origin. Born in the capital of the African country of Sudan, Mebrahtu moved to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia aged nine as a refugee during the Eritrean–Ethiopian War in 1999. Dimas Delgado Morgado (born 6 February 1983), known simply as Dimas, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for CF Montañesa. Romeo Erwin Marius Castelen (born 3 May 1983) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a right winger.
