2015–16 TBL Season
The 2015–16 TBL season is the 46th season of the Turkish Basketball First League (TBL), the second-tier level league of Turkish club basketball. Format and promotion and relegation There are a total of 18 teams participating in the league for the season. Each team plays each other in their group twice during the regular season. The top two teams are promoted to the top-tier Turkish Super League for the next season, and the last three teams are relegated to the third-tier Turkish Basketball Second League. Akhisar Belediyespor, is a Turkish professional basketball club based in Akhisar, Manisa which plays Turkish Basketball League (TBL). It is a branch of the multi-sports club of Akhisar Belediyespor. The team was founded by Akhisar, Akhisar Municipality in 2011. Their home arena is Akhisar Belediye Sports Hall with a capacity of 1,800 seats. Jalāl al-Dawla Mu'izz al-Dunyā Wa'l-Din Abu'l-Fatḥ ibn Alp Arslān (8 August 1055 – 19 November 1092, full name: fa, ), better known by his regnal name of Malik-Shah I ( fa, ), was the third sultan of the Great Seljuk Empire from 1072 to 1092, under whom the sultanate reached its zenith of power and influence. During his youth, he spent his time participating in the campaigns of his father Alp Arslan, along with the latters vizier Nizam al-Mulk. During one of such campaigns in 1072, Alp Arslan was fatally wounded and died only a few days later. After that, Malik-Shah was crowned as the new sultan of the empire, but the succession was contested by his uncle Qavurt. Eskişehir Basket was a professional basketball team based in the city of Eskişehir in Turkey. Their home arena was the Anadolu Üniversitesi Sport Hall with a capacity of 5,000 seats. Founded in 2006, the club played in the highest tier Basketbol Süper Ligi for seven seasons. It also played in Europe for one season, in the 2011–12 EuroChallenge.
