2015–16 Stetson Hatters Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Stetson Hatters women's basketball team will represent Stetson University in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Hatters were coached by eighth year head coach Lynn Bria and were members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 20–12, 9–5 in A-Sun play to finish in third place. They advanced to the semifinals A-Sun women's tournament where they lost to Florida Gulf Coast. They were invited to the Women's Basketball Invitational where they defeated McNeese State in the first round before losing to Louisiana–Lafayette in the quarterfinals. Media All home games and conference road will be shown on ESPN3 or A-Sun.TV. Non conference road games will typically be available on the opponents website. Lynn Bria is an American basketball coach who as of 2019 is the head coach of the Stetson Hatters women's basketball, Stetson Hatters women's basketball team. Prior to being named the head coach at Stetson, Bria served in head coaching roles at Ohio Bobcats women's basketball, Ohio, UCF Knights women's basketball, UCF, and Texas Woman's University, Texas Women's University. Clemson Tigers Women's Basketball
The Clemson Tigers women's basketball team represents Clemson University in women's college basketball competition. The Tigers compete in NCAA Division I as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Clemson won the ACC women's basketball tournament in 1996 and 1999, and won the ACC regular season title in 1981. They are coached by Amanda Butler, who is in her fourth year with the team. Team history Clemson began sponsoring a women's basketball team in the 1975–76 season. After winning the ACC regular season championship in 1980–81, the Tigers were invited to the inaugural NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship in 1982. Upper Marlboro, officially the Town of Upper Marlboro, is the seat of Prince George's County, Maryland. Etymology Upper Marlboro was established in 1706 as "Marlborough Town", after John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough. In 1744, the town was renamed to "Upper Marlborough".
