2015–16 South Dakota State Jackrabbits Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 South Dakota State Jackrabbits men's basketball team represented South Dakota State University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Jackrabbits, led by 21st year head coach Scott Nagy, played their home games at Frost Arena and were members of the Summit League. The Jackrabbits finished the season 26–8, 12–4 in Summit League play to share the Summit League regular season championship. They defeated Oral Roberts, Denver, and North Dakota State to win the Summit League tournament. As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. As a No. 12 seed in the South Region, they were eliminated by No. 5 seed Maryland in the first round. On April 4, head coach Scott Nagy resigned to become the head coach at Wright State. Scott Nagy
Scott Michael Nagy (; born June 7, 1966) is an American college basketball coach and the current head coach for Wright State Raiders men's basketball. He had previously served as head coach at South Dakota State for 21 seasons (1995–2016). Born in Abilene, Texas, , South Dakota State University, released June 5, 2007 Nagy attended St. Matthews grade school in Champaign, Illinois and Champaign Centennial High School, which he graduated from in 1984. His father is Dick Nagy, who was a University of Illinois assistant basketball coach under Lou Henson. Nagy played basketball collegiately at Delta State University, where he currently holds school records for most career games played and most assists in a career (549), season (234) and game (15). After graduation, Nagy became a graduate assistant at the University of Illinois for two seasons before taking a full-time assistant's job at South Dakota State, which he held for three years. 2015 Summit League Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2015 Summit League men's basketball tournament was the post-season men's basketball tournament for the Summit League. The 2015 tournament took place March 7–10 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the first time after previously being played at Sioux Falls Arena. With Oral Roberts rejoining the league, the tournament went back to eight teams. The tournament champion received an automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA tournament. Clark is a city in and county seat of Clark County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 1,148 at the 2020 census. History A post office was established at Clark in 1880.
