The 2015–16 Slovenian Second League season was the 25th edition of the Slovenian Second League. The season began on 9 August 2015 and ended on 22 May 2016. Competition format Each team played a total of 27 matches. Teams played 3 matches against each other. NK Radomlje
Nogometni klub Radomlje ( en, Radomlje Football Club) or simply NK Radomlje, currently named Kalcer Radomlje for sponsorship reasons, is a Slovenian football club located in the town of Radomlje. They play in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the top tier of Slovenian football. History Although the settlement of Radomlje had an informal football club formed in 1934 as part of the town's sports club, the club was legally not established until 1972 by a group of local workers. The club competed in the lower regional and amateur leagues in Yugoslavia until the independence of Slovenia in 1991. Slovenian Third League
The Slovenian Third Football League ( sl, Tretja slovenska nogometna liga or commonly 3. SNL) is the third tier of the Football in Slovenia, Slovenian football system. Since 2019 the league consists of two regional groups (East and West). They are operated by the Intercommunal Football Associations. Format and rules Between 1992–93 and 1997–98, the Slovenian Third League was divided into two regional groups (East and West), with both group winners directly promoting to the Slovenian Second League (except in the 1994–95 season, when the top two divisions got reorganized). In the 1998–99 season, the league was expanded to four regional groups (Centre, East, North, West). Up to the 2002–03 season, all four group winners were promoted directly to the second division. Ptuj
Ptuj (; german: Pettau, ; la, Poetovium/Poetovio) is a town in northeastern Slovenia that is the seat of the Municipality of Ptuj. Ptuj, the oldest recorded city in Slovenia, has been inhabited since the late Stone Age and developed from a Roman military fort. Ankaran (; it, Ancarano ) is a town in the Municipality of Ankaran, located near the border with Italy, in the Littoral region of Slovenia. Kidričevo
Kidričevo () is a town near Ptuj in northeastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Kidričevo. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria.
