2015–16 Portland State Vikings Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Portland State Vikings men's basketball team represented Portland State University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Vikings, led by seventh year head coach Tyler Geving, played their home games at the Peter Stott Center and were members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 13–18, 8–10 in Big Sky play to finish in eighth place. They defeated Northern Colorado in the first round of the Big Sky tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Weber State. Tyler Geving
Tyler Geving (born June 22, 1973) is an American college basketball coach and a former head coach of Portland State University's Vikings men's basketball program. Before accepting the job as head coach, Geving served for four years as the assistant head coach of Portland State under Ken Bone. Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) is a public community college in Salt Lake County, Utah. It is the state's largest two-year college with the most diverse student body. The Georgia Bulldogs men's basketball program is the men's college basketball team representing the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Rainier is a city in Columbia County, Oregon, United States. The city's population was 1,895 at the 2010 census.
