2015–16 New York Knicks Season
The 2015–16 New York Knicks season was the 70th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The season is notable when Kristaps Porzingis gained national attention when he was booed after being drafted fourth overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. Derek Fisher in just his second season as Knicks head coach was fired on February 8, 2016 and assistant coach Kurt Rambis took over for the rest of the season. Derek Fisher
Derek Lamar Fisher (born August 9, 1974) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. Fisher played professionally in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 18 seasons, spending the majority of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, with whom he won five NBA championships. Langston Galloway (born December 9, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the College Park Skyhawks of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for Saint Joseph's University. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. Brian Keefe is an American professional basketball coach who is assistant coach for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early life Brian Keefe was born in Winchester, Massachusetts. As a high-school shooting guard, he was Winchester High School's all-time leading scorer, averaging 28 points a game, with his record of 1,163 points standing for 24 years before it was broken in 2018. Rasheed Hazzard (born August 5, 1976) is an American basketball coach. He is the current head coach of the Cape Town Tigers of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). James Mitchell Cleamons (born September 13, 1949) is an American former professional basketball player and current coach. Playing career He played collegiately at the Ohio State University, and was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 13th pick of the 1971 NBA draft.
