2015–16 Liga EBA Season
The 2015–16 Liga EBA season is the 22nd edition of the Liga EBA. This is the fourth division of Spanish basketball. Four teams will be promoted to LEB Plata. The regular season will start in October 2015 and will finish in March 2016. The Final Stage to LEB Plata will be in April 2016. Format Regular season Teams are divided in five groups by geographical criteria. Groups A, C and D are divided in two. *Group A–A: Cantabria, Basque Country, La Rioja, Navarre and Castile and León. *Group A–B: Galicia, Asturias and Castile and León. *Group B: Community of Madrid, Castile-La Mancha and Canary Islands. *Groups C–A and C–B: Catalonia and Balearic Islands. *Group D–A: Andalusia and Melilla. *Group D–B: Andalusia and Extremadura. *Group E: Valencian Community and Region of Murcia. CB L'Hospitalet
Club Bàsquet L'Hospitalet, also known as Torrons Vicens L'Hospitalet for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team based in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Catalonia and plays in the Complex Esportiu L'Hospitalet Nord, in LEB Plata league. ADB Pas
Agrupación de Baloncesto Pas, also known as Pas Piélagos, is a basketball team based in Renedo de Piélagos, Cantabria, Spain, who currently plays in Liga EBA. History AB Pas was founded in 1979 in Castañeda, Cantabria. In the 1983–84 season, Pas becomes runner-up of 1ª Autonómica League and promotes to the lowest national leagues. In 1991, the team goes to Renedo de Piélagos, where nowadays continue playing. The team promotes to 2ª División, 1ª División and Liga EBA on 2004 after being champions of the Cantabrian group of 1ª División. Agrupación Deportiva Cantbasket 04, also known as Cantbasket, is a basketball team based in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, who currently plays in Liga EBA. History AD Cantbasket 04, registered in the Sports Entities Registry of the Government of Cantabria, was founded in 2004 by two co-founders who began as basketball coaches at Colegio Altamira, located in Revilla, Camargo. Step by step, Cantbasket was growing thanks to agreement with different schools of the city of Santander. Club Baloncesto Clavijo is a professional Basketball team based in Logroño, La Rioja. The team currently plays in league LEB Oro. History Founded in 1967, CB Clavijo started their first years playing in the provincial league and after achieving several promotions, reaches the Segunda División, third tier, in 1977. It played nine seasons, qualifying twice for the promotion playoffs to the second league, but after 1986 starts declining until 1998, when a group of former players and directors planned to take the helm of the club and to take it to the top divisions. In 2001, Clavijo clinched the promotion to Liga EBA, where it played two seasons with former FC Barcelona player Salva Díez as part of the roster of the club. The Primera División de Baloncesto is the fifth level in the Spanish basketball league system. Current format The Primera División works similar to the Tercera División of Spanish football.
