2015–16 Ipswich Town F.C. Season
The 2015–16 season was Ipswich Town's 14th consecutive season in the second tier of English football and 138th year in existence. Along with competing in the Championship, the club also participated in the FA Cup and League Cup. The season covered the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016. This was to be Mick McCarthy's third full season as manager, having taken charge in November 2012. In January both McCarthy and his assistant Terry Connor extended their contracts with the club until the summer of 2018. Ipswich () is a port town and borough in Suffolk, England, of which it is the county town. The town is located in East Anglia about away from the mouth of the River Orwell and the North Sea. Ipswich is both on the Great Eastern Main Line railway and the A12 road; it is north-east of London, east-southeast of Cambridge and south of Norwich. Ipswich is surrounded by two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB): Suffolk Coast and Heaths and Dedham Vale. Terry Connor
Terence Fitzroy Connor (born 9 November 1962) is an English former professional football player turned coach who is assistant manager at Blackpool. He was born in Leeds and was a pupil at Foxwood School, Seacroft, Leeds. As a player, Connor scored 91 goals from 358 games in the Football League as a striker playing for Leeds United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Portsmouth, Swansea City and Bristol City. He was capped once for the England under-21 team. He moved into coaching following his playing retirement, briefly working as a coach at both Bristol Rovers and Bristol City before joining Wolves in 1999. After holding a variety of positions he served as Wolves' manager for thirteen games during their Premier League relegation in 2012. Bolton (, locally ) is a large town in Greater Manchester in North West England, formerly a part of Lancashire. Liam Michael Feeney-Howard (born 21 January 1987) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for National League North team Scunthorpe United. He became a free agent on 30 June 2023. David McGoldrick
David James McGoldrick (born 29 November 1987) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Derby County. He won 14 caps for the Republic of Ireland national team between 2014 and 2020, scoring one international goal. A trainee at Notts County, he made his senior debut in 2004, before being signed by Southampton later in the year. Cole Skuse (born 29 March 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Colchester United. He started his footballing career at Bristol City, where he graduated from the club's academy and went on to make over 300 appearances in all competitions in a nine-year spell with the club. Christophe Berra
Christophe Didier Berra (born 31 January 1985) is a Scottish professional football former player and coach, who is currently the first team coach for Livingston. Berra began his professional career with Heart of Midlothian, playing 146 times for them before he moved to England in 2009 in a £2.5 million transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was part of their promotion to the Premier League months later and played in the top flight with the team for three seasons before relegation. Thomas Jefferson Smith (born 31 March 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Colchester United. Born in England, he represents the New Zealand national team. Luke Chambers
Luke Chambers (born 28 September 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. Primarily a centre back, he could also play at right back. Chambers made 792 appearances in the English Football League, placing him in the top ten list of all time.
