The 2015–16 season is Hartlepool United's 107th year in existence and their third consecutive season in League Two. Along with competing in League Two, the club will also participate in the FA Cup, League Cup and League Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016. Hartlepool () is a seaside and port town in County Durham, England. It is the largest settlement and administrative centre of the Borough of Hartlepool. With an estimated population of 90,123, it is the second-largest settlement in County Durham. Hartlepool is locally administrated by Hartlepool Borough Council, a unitary authority which also administrates outlying villages of Seaton Carew, Greatham, Hart Village, Dalton Piercy and Elwick. Hartlepool was founded in the 7th century, around the monastery of Hartlepool Abbey. The village grew in the Middle Ages and its harbour served as the official port of the County Palatine of Durham. Jake Carroll (born 11 August 1991) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Scottish Premiership club Motherwell. He previously played for League of Ireland side St Patrick's Athletic, English sides Huddersfield Town, Bury, Hartlepool United and Cambridge United and in Scotland with Partick Thistle. Scott Fenwick
Scott James Fenwick (born 9 April 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Consett. He played in the Football League for Hartlepool United and for League of Ireland club Cork City. Club career Early career Fenwick was born in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. Nicky Lee Featherstone (born 22 September 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as midfielder for club Hartlepool United. Michael James Woods (born 6 April 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for South Shields. He started his career at Chelsea, and has since played for Harrogate Town, Hartlepool United, Dover Athletic and York City. Ebenezer Godfried Nelson-Addy (born 13 September 1992) is an English footballer who plays for side Bedford Town, where he plays as a midfielder. Olalekan Kudus Oyenuga (born 18 March 1993) is an English footballer, who plays as a forward. He was most recently player-manager at Burnham Ramblers.
