2015–16 Grambling State Tigers Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Grambling State Tigers men's basketball team represented Grambling State University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Tigers, led by second year head coach Shawn Walker, played their home games at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center and were members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Tigers finished the regular season with a 7–24 overall record, 4–14 in SWAC play to finish in last place. They lost to Mississippi Valley State in the first round of the SWAC tournament. Shawn Walker
Shawn Walker (born February 2, 1972) is an American basketball coach and the former head coach of Grambling State University Tigers men's basketball program and former assistant coach and college basketball player. Walker's contract with Grambling was not renewed following the 2016–17 season. The 2015–16 East Carolina Pirates men's basketball team represented East Carolina University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pirates were led by sixth year head coach Jeff Lebo and played their home games at Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum as second year members of the American Athletic Conference. The Pirates finished the season with a record of 12–20, 4–14 in AAC play to finish in a tie for ninth place in conference. They lost to South Florida in the first round of the AAC tournament.
