2015–16 Eastern Washington Eagles Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Eastern Washington Eagles Women's basketball team will represent Eastern Washington University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Eagles, were led by fifteenth year head coach Wendy Schuller and play their home games at Reese Court. They are members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 20–12, 13–5 in Big Sky play to finish in a 3-way tie for second place. They advanced to the semifinals of the Big Sky women's tournament where they lost to Idaho State. Despite having 20 wins, they were not invited to a postseason tournament. Wendy Schuller
Wendy Luebbers Schuller is an American basketball coach who was, until 2021, the head coach for the Eastern Washington Eagles women's basketball team, a position she had held since 2001. Born in Redlands, California, Schuller attended and played for Fresno Pacific University as a shooting guard for the Sunbirds. Before graduating in 1992, she was selected as an NAIA Academic All-American. As coach at Eastern Washington, Schuller has advanced to the Big Sky Conference tournament 16 times. She led the 2009–10 team to the program's first-ever Big Sky regular-season championship, and then to the program's first Women's National Invitation Tournament appearance that same season and in the 2012–13 and 2014–15 seasons. The 2015–16 Gonzaga Bulldogs women's basketball team represents Gonzaga University in the 2015–16 college basketball season. The Bulldogs (also informally referred to as the "Zags"), members of the West Coast Conference. The Bulldogs were led by second year head coach Lisa Fortier. The Zags play their home games at the McCarthey Athletic Center on the university campus in Spokane, Washington. They finished the season 19–14, 10–8 in WCC play to finish in fifth place. The 2015–16 Air Force Falcons women's basketball team represents the United States Air Force Academy during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Falcons, led by first head coach Chris Gobrecht, play their home games at the Clune Arena on the Air Force Academy's main campus in Colorado Springs, Colorado and were members of the Mountain West Conference. Eastern Oregon University (EOU) (officially designated as Oregon’s Rural University) is a public university in La Grande, Oregon. The Saint Martin's Saints (also SMU Saints) are the 13 varsity athletic teams that represent Saint Martin's University, located in Lacey, Washington, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports.
