The 2015–16 season was Chesterfield's 149th season in their history and their second consecutive season in League One. Ángel Martínez Cervera (born 31 January 1986), known simply as Ángel, is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He began his career with Espanyol, appearing in 59 competitive games and reaching the 2007 UEFA Cup Final. Subsequently, he played in England, starting out at Blackpool for whom he signed in 2011. Dion James Donohue (born 26 August 1993) is a Welsh footballer who plays as a midfielder and full back who plays for Caernarfon Town, for who he also serves as captain. A former Everton trainee, he began his senior career in the lower levels of Welsh football with Porthmadog, Holyhead Hotspur and Caernarfon Town before switching to Sutton Coldfield Town of the Northern Premier League Division One South in 2014. Gateshead () is a large town in northern England. It is on the River Tyne's southern bank, opposite Newcastle to which it is joined by seven bridges. Ilkeston is a town in the Borough of Erewash, Derbyshire, England, on the River Erewash, from which the borough takes its name, with a population at the 2011 census of 38,640.
