2015–16 Buffalo Bulls Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Buffalo Bulls women's basketball team represents the University at Buffalo during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bulls, led by fourth year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack, play their home games at Alumni Arena as members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 20–14, 8–10 in MAC play to finish in third place in the East Division. They won the MAC women's tournament and earn an automatic trip to the NCAA women's tournament for the first time in school history where they lost in the first round to Ohio State. Felisha Legette-Jack
Felisha Legette-Jack (born September 4, 1966) is the current head coach of the Syracuse University's women basketball team. She previously served as the head coach at the University at Buffalo, Indiana University, and Hofstra University's women basketball teams. Early life and education Coming from a athletically gifted family, Legette-Jack first came to prominence at Nottingham Senior High School in the mid 1980s. Her brother, Ronnie, had led the Bulldogs to a state championship earlier, but Felisha went one better, leading the Lady Bulldogs to two state titles before going on to star at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, Legette-Jack scored 1,526 points, grabbed 927 rebounds, and graduated as the all-time leading scorer and rebounder in program history. As of 2021, she ranks fifth in scoring and third in rebounds. 2015–16 UCF Knights Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 UCF Knights women's basketball team will represent the University of Central Florida during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I basketball season. The Knights compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the American Athletic Conference (The American). The Knights, in the program's 39th season of basketball, are led by ninth-year head coach Joi Williams, and play their home games at the CFE Arena on the university's main campus in Orlando, Florida. 2015–16 UMass Minutewomen Basketball Team
The 2015–16 UMass Minutewomen basketball team will represent the University of Massachusetts Amherst during the 2015–16 college basketball season. The Minutewomen, led by sixth year head coach Sharon Dawley. The Minutewomen were members of the Atlantic 10 Conference and play their home games at the William D. Mullins Memorial Center. They finished the season 12–18, 5–11 in A-10 to finish in a 4 way tie for tenth place. They advanced to the second round of the A-10 women's tournament where they lost to Fordham. Daemen College
Daemen University is a private university in Amherst, New York and Brooklyn, New York. Formerly Daemen College and Rosary Hill College, the now-nondenominational school was founded by the Sisters of St. Francis in 1947.
