2015–16 Arkansas Razorbacks Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball team represented the University of Arkansas in the 2015–16 season. The team's head coach was Mike Anderson, who was in his fifth season. The team played their home games at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as a member of the SEC. They finished the season 16–16, 9–9 in SEC play to finish in a tie for eighth place. They lost in the second round of the SEC tournament to Florida. Mike Anderson (basketball Coach)
Michael Andre Anderson (born December 12, 1959) is an American basketball coach, currently the head coach of the St. John's Red Storm. He came to St. John's after previously serving as head coach at UAB, Missouri and Arkansas. He also served as an assistant/associate head coach under Nolan Richardson at Arkansas for 17 years. Over his 20 seasons as a head coach, Anderson has compiled a 414–235 record, 11 20-win campaigns, 9 NCAA Tournament appearances, two Sweet 16 berths and a run to the 2009 Elite Eight. Anderson is one of just 3 current Division I head coaches with 15+ years of experience and no losing seasons, along with Mark Few and Tom Izzo. 2014–15 Wofford Terriers Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Wofford Terriers men's basketball team represented Wofford College during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Terriers, led by 13th year head coach Mike Young, played their home games at the Benjamin Johnson Arena and were members of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 28–7, 16–2 in SoCon play to win the SoCon regular season championship. They defeated UNC Greensboro, Western Carolina, and Furman to be champions of the SoCon tournament. Michael Qualls
Michael Qualls (born January 20, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the TaiwanBeer HeroBears of the T1 League. He played college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks and is most notably remembered for his go-ahead slam dunk with 0.2 seconds left in overtime against Kentucky in 2014. High school career Qualls attended Huntington High School where he led them to four district championships, including a senior season in which he averaged 17.8 points per game, guiding Huntington to 33 wins, making him the third-ranked player in the state of Louisiana in the class of 2012, with an ESPN.com scout grade of 89. Nick Weiler-Babb (born December 12, 1995) is an American-born naturalized German professional basketball player for Bayern Munich of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the EuroLeague. Bobby Portis Jr. (born February 10, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks, earning consensus second-team All-American honors as a sophomore in 2015.
