Newport Performing Arts Theater
The Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT), also known as simply Newport Theater, is a performing arts center on the grounds of Newport World Resorts in Pasay, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is a modern multi-purpose theater named after its location in the Newport Mall and entertainment complex connected to the integrated resort in the Newport City township. The 1,500-seat facility opened in 2010 and holds the widest stage in the Philippines. The Voice Of The Philippines (season 2)
The second season of ''The Voice of the Philippines'' was a reality singing competition in ABS-CBN which started airing on October 26, 2014. apl.de.ap, Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, and Bamboo Mañalac returned as coaches for this season. Toni Gonzaga also returned to host the show; she was also joined by ''The Voice Kids'' host, Luis Manzano. Robi Domingo and Alex Gonzaga also returned to reprise their roles as the show's V-reporters. The show aired every Saturdays 8:45 p.m. ( PST) and Sundays at 8:30 p.m. (PST). On March 1, 2015, Jason Dy of Team Sarah won the competition, beating Alisah Bonaobra of Team apl. Jason James Desiata Dy (born June 19, 1990) is a Filipino singer, songwriter, actor and musician. He is best known as the winner of the second season of ''The Voice of the Philippines''. Dy was invited onstage by David Foster to perform with him during his HitMan tour at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Manila, August 18, 2015. Dy sang "I Have Nothing" with Foster on piano. Dy's eponymous album, Jason Dy, was released by MCA Universal on September 4, 2015. "Caught in that Feeling", "Milagro", and "Walang Iwanan" were released as singles.
