2015 Women's Knockout Cup
The 2015 Women's Knockout Cup was New Zealand's women's 22nd knockout football competition. The 2015 competition had three rounds before the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. Competition was run in three regions (Northern, Central, Southern) until the quarter-finals, from which stage the draw was open. In all, 31 teams entered the competition. The 2015 final The 2015 final was played between Glenfield Rovers from Auckland and Massey University from Palmerston North at Trust Arena, West Auckland before the men's Chatham Cup final. Glenfield Rovers beat Massey 4–0, claiming their third title in five years while inflicting Massey University second lost in the finals after they lost in 2013. The Trusts Arena
The Trusts Arena is an indoor arena located in Henderson, New Zealand, Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand. It is a multi-purpose stadium that primarily holds sports events and music concerts. The Arena was opened by then Prime Minister of New Zealand Helen Clark on 11 September 2004. It holds 4,901 people. Ellerslie AFC is an association football club based in Ellerslie, New Zealand. The senior team currently competes in the NRFL Championship. Club history Ellerslie AFC’s history goes back to the original founding of the Auckland Football Association in 1887, whereby it was one of the seven clubs to participate in the Association’s inaugural competition. The Club continued into the second season of organised soccer in Auckland, but, like the playing of the game at that time, did not continue past that point. Halswell United is an amateur association football club based in Christchurch, New Zealand in the suburb of Halswell. They will compete in the New World Mainland Premier League. The club was founded in 1964 as Halswell United Soccer, changing its name in 1999 when the national body officially changed its title to include the word football, and it is one of the largest clubs in the South Island, with over 900 members. Memorial Park is a venue for football matches in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. It is the home of Petone FC who have been based there since 1961 as well as Capital Football who look after the game for the Wellington Region. Kapiti Coast United (KCU) is an association football club in New Zealand. Their home ground is Weka Park in Raumati Beach on the Kāpiti Coast.
