The 2015 West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament was held March 6–10, 2015 at the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The winner of the tournament received the conference's automatic bid into the 2015 NCAA tournament. Orleans Arena
Orleans Arena is a 9,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Paradise, Nevada, in the Las Vegas Valley. It is located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino and is operated by Coast Casinos, a subsidiary of Boyd Gaming Corporation. The arena is the home to the Vegas Rollers of World TeamTennis since 2019. It is also an occasional home for the UNLV Rebels basketball team when the Thomas & Mack Center is in use. The arena was the home of the Las Vegas Wranglers ice hockey team from 2003 to 2014, the Las Vegas Gladiators arena football team in 2007, as well as the Las Vegas Sin women's football team. 2014–15 San Francisco Dons Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 San Francisco Dons men's basketball team represented the University of San Francisco during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. It was head coach Rex Walters seventh season at San Francisco. The Dons played their home games at the War Memorial Gymnasium and were members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 14–18, 7–11 in WCC play to finish in a three way tie for sixth place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the WCC tournament where they lost to Gonzaga. Barry Tompkins
Barry David Tompkins (born May 2, 1940) is an American sportscaster. He is better known for his work as a boxing commentator, but he has covered football and other sports. Early life Tompkins was born and raised in San Francisco. Career KCBS, KCBS, WNBC, NBC Sports and KRON He began his broadcasting career at San Francisco radio station KCBS in 1965. Tompkins was hired as sports director at the San Francisco CBS television affiliate, KPIX-TV. In 1974, he moved to New York to join WNBC-TV as a sports anchor and feature reporter, before moving to NBC Sports in 1975 to host weekly radio shows as well as television play-by-play for basketball and football. Tompkins spent five years at NBC. Tompkins returned to San Francisco in 1978 and joined then-NBC affiliate KRON-TV as sports director, while continuing to cover Pac-10 basketball for NBC as well as feature stories for its NFL pre-game show. Eric Thompson (basketball)
Eric Thompson (born August 4, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for CSO Voluntari of the Liga Națională. He played college basketball for Lake Michigan, Saddleback and the University of the Pacific before playing professionally in Germany, Switzerland, China, Japan and Israel. Early life and college career Thompson attended Pontiac High School in Pontiac, Michigan. He started his college basketball career at Lake Michigan College, where he averaged 9.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 55 percent from the field for the Red Hawks. Blaine Fowler is a college football and men's college basketball sports analyst in the Mountain West Conference for NBC Sports Network basketball broadcasts. He also provides analysis for the Independent BYU Cougars football team and men's basketball West Coast Conference games for BYUtv Sports.
