2015 UEC European Track Championships – Women's Points Race
The Women's points race was held on 15 October 2015. 18 riders participated over a distance of 25 km (100 laps), with sprints every 10 laps awarding 5, 3, 2 or 1 point to the first four; 20 points are also awarded/withdrawn for each lap gained/lost respectively. UEC European Champion Jersey
The UEC European Champion jersey is the distinctive, identifiable jersey that the winner of a bicycle race receives at European Cycling Championships organized by the European Cycling Union (UEC), such as the European Road Championships and the European Track Championships. The jersey is predominantly blue with gold European stars. The jerseys are awarded in all cycling disciplines, including road cycling, track cycling, cyclo-cross, BMX, mountain biking and indoor cycling. The jerseys are provided by Santini SMS. From 2016, its design consist of a three-part blue banner behind three yellow stars. Elinor Jane Barker (born 7 September 1994) is a Welsh road and track racing cyclist, who last rode professionally on the road for UCI Women's Team . Representing Great Britain in international competitions, Barker is an Olympic champion, a two-time World champion and seven-time European champion in the team pursuit, as well as a three-time World champion in the points and scratch races, a two-time European Madison champion and one time European Elimination race champion. Josie Knight (born 29 March 1997) is an English professional racing cyclist who has represented Great Britain and England since 2018. Knight was part of the Great Britain team that won the silver medal in team pursuit at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, and the 2022 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France. Representing England, Knight won bronze in team pursuit at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. Kirsten Carlijn Wild (born 15 October 1982) is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2004 and 2021, for eight professional teams. During her track cycling career, Wild rode at the Summer Olympic Games in 2012, 2016 and 2020, winning a bronze medal at the latter Games, in the omnium.
