2015 Toronto FC Season
The 2015 Toronto FC season was the ninth season in club history. On October 14, the team qualified for the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. The club began the season with a seven match road trip due to ongoing renovations at BMO Field. Their first home game was played May 10 against the Houston Dynamo, more than two months into the season. Background During the 2014 season, Toronto FC finished seventh out of ten teams in the Eastern Conference. On 12 July 2015, Giovinco achieved Toronto FC's first ever hat-trick in MLS play against New York City FC in a 4–4 draw at Yankee Stadium, and set up the fourth goal during the match, also missing a penalty. Ashtone Morgan
Ashtone Wayne Henry Morgan (born February 9, 1991) is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a left-back for Forge FC in the Canadian Premier League. Morgan was the first graduate of the TFC Academy to play for the Canadian National Team. Early life Ashtone attended Northern Secondary School in Toronto and played for the Toronto Lynx U-13 squad that travelled to England to play other youth academies. Justin Morrow
Justin Morrow (born October 4, 1987) is an American retired professional soccer player. Morrow is the executive director of ''Black Players for Change'', which in 2020 won the MLS Humanitarian of the Year Award. College and amateur career Morrow attended Saint Ignatius High School, where he was an adidas/NSCAA high school All-American. He played college soccer at the University of Notre Dame. He was a Big East Academic All-Star in both his sophomore and junior years as well as his team's captain during his senior season. Toronto FC Academy, also known as TFC Academy, is the youth academy and development system of Canadian Major League Soccer club Toronto FC. The academy has divisions from U14 to U19 and includes over 110 young players. The senior academy team is known as Toronto FC III.
