The 2015 season is Sarpsborg 08's 4th season in Tippeligaen, following their return to the top level in 2012. It is also their first season with Geir Bakke as the club's manager. Sarpsborg 08 FF
Sarpsborg 08 Fotballforening, commonly known as Sarpsborg 08 or simply Sarpsborg (), is a Norwegian football club based in Sarpsborg, playing in Eliteserien. Sarpsborg 08 and its predecessors played in 1. divisjon from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, the club was promoted to the Tippeligaen, the top league in Norway, but finished last and was relegated back to 1. divisjon in 2011. In 2012, they were promoted again and 6 years after, they qualified for their first Europa League group stage. They play their home games at Sarpsborg Stadion. History Pre-existence Football in Sarpsborg has traditionally been dominated by Sarpsborg FK (SFK), which won the Norwegian Cup six times and played 20 seasons in the top division, and to a lesser extent IL Sparta, which won the Norwegian Cup in 1952 and played nine seasons in the top division. Kristoffer Tokstad (born 5 July 1991) is a Norwegian football midfielder, who currently plays for OBOS-ligaen club Mjøndalen in Norway. Career Before transferring to Lillestrøm he played youth football for Lørenskog IF. He signed for Lillestrøm SK in mid-season 2007, was immediately loaned out to Lørenskog again. He returned to Lillestrøm, and ahead of the 2009 season he played several friendly matches. Péter Kovács (born 7 February 1978) is a Hungarian former professional footballer played as a forward for Újpest and Vác in Hungary, for Lahti and Haka in Finland, for Tromsø, Viking, Strømsgodset, Odd Grenland, Sarpsborg 08, Sandefjord and Arendal in Norway, and for Lierse in Belgium. Club career Kovács was born in Salgótarján, Hungary. When playing for FC Haka he scored a goal against Liverpool in the 2001–02 Champions League qualifyings. Duwayne Oriel Kerr (born 16 January 1987) is a Jamaican international footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Career Club Kerr has played club football in Jamaica for Reno and Portmore United. Claes Kronberg
Claes Phillip Kronberg (né Jørgensen) (born 19 April 1987) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a full-back for KÍ Klaksvík. Career Kronberg was born in Nykøbing Falster where he also played for Lolland Falster Alliancen. Kronberg joined Sarpsborg 08 in 2011. He made his debut for Sarpsborg 08 in a 3–1 loss against Lillestrøm. In July 2013 he changed his surname to Kronberg after he married his girlfriend. Kronberg joined Viking ahead of the 2016 season. Habib Mohamed Bellaïd (born 28 March 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Born in France, he has represented France at youth level and Algeria at senior level.
