2015 PSA World Series
The PSA World Series 2015 is a series of men's and women's squash tournaments which are part of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour for the start of 2015 squash season. The PSA World Series tournaments are some of the most prestigious events on the men's and women's tour. PSA World Series Ranking Points PSA World Series events also have a separate World Series ranking. Points for this are calculated on a cumulative basis after each World Series event. Professional Squash Association
The Professional Squash Association (PSA) is the governing body for the men's and women's professional squash circuit. The body operates in a similar fashion to the ATP and the WTA for tennis. The PSA's highest professional level, the PSA World Tour involves over 200 tournaments annually around the world. Over 800 players from all the 5 continents (over 60 different countries represented ) are registered with the PSA and rankings are updated monthly based on players' performances. The El Gouna International 2015 is the men's edition of the 2015 El Gouna International, which is a PSA World Series event Gold (Prize money : 150 000 $). The event took place at the Abu Tig Marina in El Gouna in Egypt from 5 April to 10 April. Marwan El Shorbagy
Marwan El Shorbagy (born July 30, 1993, in Alexandria) is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 3 in May 2018. He won the World Juniors in 2011 & 2012 and became the third player in history to win the World Junior twice. Career overview Marwan was born and raised in the Egyptian city of Alexandria. Mathieu Castagnet (born 14 November 1986 in Saintes, Charente-Maritime) is a professional squash player who represented France. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 6 in May 2016. He reached the quarterfinals of the US Open in 2013 and the quarterfinals of the British Open in 2014, and entered the world Top 20 in June 2014. Simon Rösner (born 5 November 1987 in Würzburg) is a German former professional squash player. He broke the Top 10 in the PSA World Rankings for the first time in November 2014, going on to become the highest-ranked male German player of all time. Peter Barker (born 26 September 1983 in Harold Wood, England) is a professional squash player from Upminster, England. Barker reached a world ranking of 13 in November 2007, the same month that he was selected to represent the senior England team at the World Team Championships in December 2008, held in India. Peter Barker has 12 professional tour titles to his name out of 15 final appearances. Omar Mosaad Abouzid (born March 17, 1988 in Cairo) is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 3 in 2016.
