The 2015 Open d'Orléans was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the eleventh edition of the tournament which was part of the 2015 ATP Challenger Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Ken Skupski
Ken Skupski Jr. (born 9 April 1983) is a British former professional tennis player who specialised in doubles. He reached his career-high ATP doubles ranking of world No. 44 in July 2010, and won seven titles on the ATP Tour, most notably the 2021 Mexican Open alongside younger brother Neal Skupski, with whom he regularly competed from 2013. Skupski is a three-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist, having reached this stage at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships in both men's and mixed doubles, and the 2020 Australian Open in men's doubles. Yann Marti (born 7 June 1988) is a Swiss tennis player. His highest ranking is World No. 200, which was achieved on 18 August 2014. In September 2014, Yann Marti was called as fifth player and sparring partner for the Davis Cup semifinal Switzerland-Italy in Geneva together with Roger Federer, Stan Wawrinka, Marco Chiudinelli, and Michael Lammer. Although Marti ranked as the fourth Swiss player on the ATP (no. 209), Lammer (ATP 497) was preferred due to his qualities as doubles player. Filip Veger
Filip Veger (born 21 December 1994, in Slatina) is a Croatian tennis coach and former professional tennis player. Career Veger made his ATP main draw debut at the 2013 PBZ Zagreb Indoors where he came through qualifying defeating Simon Greul, Kamil Čapkovič and Ante Pavić. He lost in the first round to Lukáš Rosol, 6–2, 6–4. As a singles player, Veger reached a career high of 478 in February 2015. He had some success as a junior, reaching a highest ranking of 52 in singles and was also a finalist in the 2012 Australian Open Boys' Doubles alongside Adam Pavlásek, losing to the British pair of Liam Broady and Joshua Ward-Hibbert. Franko Škugor
Franko Škugor (; born 20 September 1987) is a Croatian professional tennis player who mainly competes on the ATP Challenger Tour and specialized in doubles. He has a career-high ATP doubles ranking of World No. 17 achieved on 22 April 2019. He is best known for his very powerful serve up to 230 km/h (143 mph) along with very strong groundstrokes. Marco Chiudinelli
Marco Chiudinelli (born 10 September 1981) is a retired tennis player from Switzerland. A member of Switzerland's winning 2014 Davis Cup squad, he reached his highest singles ranking of 52 in February 2010 during a career that was often hindered by injury. Biography Marco grew up in Münchenstein and learned to play tennis at Basel Lawn Tennis Club. He later joined a region-wide tennis group, where he first met Roger Federer, who belonged to the nearby Old Boys Tennis Club. They quickly became friends but were soon the 'black sheep' of the group, with one or the other often forced to sit on the sidelines for disciplinary reasons.
