The 2015 Milwaukee Brewers season was the 46th season for the Brewers in Milwaukee, the 18th in the National League, and 47th overall. They finished fourth in the National League Central Division. National League Central
The National League Central is one of Major League Baseball's six divisions. This division was created in 1994, by moving two teams from the National League West (the Cincinnati Reds and the Houston Astros) and three teams from the National League East (the Chicago Cubs, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the St. Louis Cardinals). When the division was created in 1994, the Pirates were originally supposed to stay in the East while the Atlanta Braves were to be moved to the Central from the West. However, the Braves, wanting to form a natural rivalry with the expansion Florida Marlins, requested to remain in the East. Despite the Marlins offering to go to the Central, the Pirates instead gave up their spot in the East to the Braves. John Joseph Block (born March 1, 1978) is a radio and TV play-by-play announcer who calls games for the Pittsburgh Pirates on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh and KDKA-FM, joining the team in 2016 after 4 years with the Milwaukee Brewers. Zachary Thomas Duke (born April 19, 1983) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Lyle Stefan Overbay (born January 28, 1977) is an American former professional baseball first baseman. Mark Andrew Reynolds (born August 3, 1983) is an American former professional baseball infielder.
