2015 MAC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2015 Mid-American Conference men's basketball tournament was a post-season basketball tournament for the Mid-American Conference (MAC) 2014β15 college basketball season. Tournament first-round games were held on campus sites at the higher seed on March 9. The remaining rounds were held at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland between March 11β14. University at Buffalo won the tournament and received the conference's automatic bid into the 2015 NCAA tournament. Format As with the recent tournaments, the top two seeds receive byes into the semifinals, with the three and four seeds receiving a bye to the quarterfinals. BCSN is a regional sports network founded in 2003 (and first went on the air on January 7, 2004) to carry sports broadcasting, which had previously been aired on fellow cable-only station WT05. The 2014β15 Mid-American Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2014, followed by the start of the 2014β15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play began in January 2015 and concluded in March 2015. Buffalo, Kent State and Central Michigan shared the regular season title with a conference record of 12β6. Second-seeded Buffalo defeated top-seeded Central Michigan in the MAC tournament final and represented the MAC in the NCAA tournament where they lost to West Virginia. Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The Mid-American Conference men's basketball tournament is the NCAA Division I postseason single-elimination tournament for the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The winner of the tournament receives the MAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship. As of the next MAC tournament in 2021, the top eight teams in conference play will qualify for the tournament. Since 2000, the MAC Tournament has been held at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland and is planned to be held there through at least 2030. The finals are broadcast on ESPN2 and the semi and quarterfinals are broadcast on Spectrum Sports and ESPN3. Braylon Rayson (born December 25, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for BK Ogre of the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League. He played college basketball for the Central Michigan Chippewas. In 2019, he was named NBL Canada Player of the Year.
