The Supreme Council ( ky, Жогорку Кеңеш, Zhogorku Kengesh, ; russian: Верховный Совет, ''Verkhovny Sovet'') is the unicameral Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic. Ar-Namys
Ar-Namys ( ky, Ар-Намыс, meaning ''Dignity'') is a political party in Kyrgyzstan founded on July 9, 1999, by former Prime Minister Felix Kulov. The party quickly became the nation's leading opposition party but was barred from the 2000 parliamentary elections. However, since the party was barred its members formed a bloc with the Democratic Movement of Kyrgyzstan. With Kulov serving time for criminal charges, the party's members worked over the next years to both clear his name and establish a broad opposition coalition. United Kyrgyzstan
United Kyrgyzstan ( ky, Бүтүн Кыргызстан, Bütün Kyrgyzstan) is a nationalist political party in Kyrgyzstan founded in 2010. It is generally more popular in the south of the country. The party is led by Adakhan Madumarov, who unsuccessfully ran for president of Kyrgyzstan in 2011 and 2017, coming second and third, respectively. The Ata-Meken Socialist Party ( ky, Ата-Мекен Социалисттик Партиясы, Ata-Meken Sotsialisttik Partiyası, lit=Fatherland Socialist Party; sometimes shortened to simply Ata-Meken) is a social-democratic political party in Kyrgyzstan. Bir Bol (, ), officially the Political Party of State Unity and Patriotism "Bir Bol" (), was a liberal political party in Kyrgyzstan. It was led by Altynbek Sulaymanov. The party had been described having 'low visibility'. Önügüü–Progress ( ky, Өнүгүү-Прогресс, ) is a political party in Kyrgyzstan led by Bakyt Torobayev. History Önügüü–Progress was formed in 2012 by Torobayev after he left Respublika, and primarily draws its support from southern Kyrgyzstan, where there is a significant Uzbek population.
