The Junior women's race at the 2015 IAAF World Cross Country Championships was held at the Guiyang horse racing circuit in Guiyang, China, on March 28, 2015. Reports of the event were given for the IAAF. Complete results for individuals, and for teams were published. World Athletics, formerly known as the International Amateur Athletic Federation (from 1912 to 2001) and International Association of Athletics Federations (from 2001 to 2019, both abbreviated as the IAAF) is the international governing body for the sport of athletics, covering track and field, cross country running, road running, race walking, mountain running, and ultra running. Stella Chesang
Stella Chesang (born 1 December 1996) is a long-distance runner from Uganda who competed in the Athletics at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's 5000 metres event at the 2016 Olympics. In April 2018, she won the gold medal in the 10,000 metres at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Background and education Chesang as born on 1 December 1996 in Serere Village, Benet sub-county, Kween District, in the Eastern Region of Uganda, to Juliet Cheptoris and Patrick Kusuro. Elvanie Nimbona (born 15 March 1998) is a Burundian long-distance runner. She competed in the senior women's race at the 2019 IAAF World Cross Country Championships. She finished in 55th place.
