2015 Football Queensland Season
The 2015 Football Queensland season was the third season since NPL Queensland commenced as the top tier of Queensland men’s football. Below NPL Queensland is a regional structure of ten zones with their own leagues. The strongest of the zones is Football Brisbane with its senior men’s competition consisting of five divisions. The NPL Queensland premiers qualified for the National Premier Leagues finals series, competing with the other state federation champions in a final knockout tournament to decide the National Premier Leagues Champion for 2015. Football Queensland is recognised by both the State and Federal Governments and Football Australia as the governing body for association football and futsal in Queensland (Australia), Queensland, Australia. Northern Fury FC
Northern Fury Football Club was an Australian professional soccer club based in Townsville, Queensland. The club was founded in 2008 and competed in the A-League under the name North Queensland Fury. On 1 March 2011, the club was removed from the league due to financial instability. On 3 October 2012, the club officially re-formed after it was granted a licence to participate in the National Premier League Queensland. After rebranding themselves as "North Queensland United" in 2017, the club disbanded a second time at the end of the 2018 Football Queensland season. Wynnum District SC
Wynnum Wolves Football Club, Wolves FC, or WDSC Wolves FC, is a semi professional football club with home grounds in Boundary Street, Tingalpa, Brisbane, Australia. Founded in 1921, the club has a long tradition and currently competes in the Football Queensland Premier League 2. About the Club Wolves FC has men's, women's, and youth teams for girls and boys from the ages of 6 and up. Queensland Lions Football Club, known as Lions FC, is a football (soccer) club based in Brisbane, Australia. Founded in 1957 as ''Hollandia Inala Soccer Club'', the club currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Queensland. History The club was founded in 1957 as Hollandia-Inala Soccer Club by Dutch immigrants. From the start they were based at grounds in the Brisbane suburb of Darra and then moved to Pine Road, Richlands, where they play today. In the early 1970s, all clubs were required to abandon 'ethnic' names and they then adopted the name Brisbane Lions. Peninsula Power is an Australian soccer club from Redcliffe, Queensland. It was formed in 2000 following a merger of the Redcliffe City and Margate clubs. It competes in the National Premier Leagues Queensland. History Redcliffe City Soccer Club The Redcliffe Soccer Club initially competed in Brisbane's junior competitions, fielding a team in junior first grade in 1948. The club first competed in Brisbane senior competition in 1952, entering the league in Division 4. In its first 20 years, the club's managed just one season in Division 2 in 1962, winning just two games and being relegated. Jacob Fulluck
Jacob (; ; ar, يَعْقُوب, Yaʿqūb; gr, Ἰακώβ, Iakṓb), later given the name Israel, is regarded as a patriarch of the Israelites and is an important figure in Abrahamic religions, such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Daniel Joseph Byrne (5 October 1885 – 9 June 1952) was an Irish politician, medical doctor and farmer. He was elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1922 general election as a Farmers' Party Teachta Dála (TD) for the Waterford–Tipperary East constituency. He did not contest the 1923 general election. Royce Brownlie (born 28 January 1980) is an Australian footballer who plays as a striker for NPL Queensland club Moreton Bay United Club career Royce Brownlie was born in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales and began his football career at the Queensland Academy of Sport, representing them in the National Youth League in the 1996–97 and 1997–98 seasons. Brownlie scored a hat-trick in QAS's 4–1 win over UTS Olympic in round seven of 1996–97, and several goals in the following season to earn his call-up to the Brisbane Strikers senior team for the end of the 1997–98 National Soccer League season. Tim Smits
Tim Smits (born 11 April 1986) is an Australian footballer who plays for Grange Thistle. Club career Smits began his career with North Pine SC, he then moved to Albany Creek and then to the QAS. At the Queensland Academy of Sport he spent three years, after this, he joined Pine Rivers United where he played two years. In January 2006, Smits was scouted by Netherlands club Helmond Sport, where he played for the reserve team, after one year in the Netherlands, he moved back to Australia and signed with Rochedale Rovers.
