2015 Catalunya GP3 Series Round
The 2015 Catalunya GP3 Series round was a GP3 Series motor race held on May 9 and 10, 2015 at Circuit de Catalunya, Montmeló, Spain. It was the first round of the 2015 GP3 Series. The race supported the 2015 Spanish Grand Prix. Luca Ghiotto took pole position and Esteban Ocon took the victory in the feature race, while Marvin Kirchhöfer took the victory in the sprint race. Circuit De Catalunya
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. The circuit has FIA Grade 1 license. Until 2013 the track was known only as the ''Circuit de Catalunya'', before a sponsorship deal with Barcelona City Council added Barcelona to the track's title. Álex Palou Montalbo (; born 1 April 1997) is a Spanish racing driver who drives for Chip Ganassi Racing in the IndyCar Series, where he won the 2021 series championship. He is the first Spanish racing driver to win a National Championship in American open-wheel racing history and also the first Spaniard to win in the GP3 Series. Artur Janosz (born 16 June 1993) is a Polish racing driver. Career Karting Born on 16 June 1993 in Pszczyna, Janosz began karting in 2010 in the local Senior category of the Rotax International Open, in which he became 24th. This is the only registered karting championship in which he competed. Euroformula Open Janosz graduated to the European F3 Open Championship, with Campos Racing, in 2013. He finished in the points three times: in the second race in Spa-Francorchamps and both races in Monza. He became 13th in the championship with 16 points. Janosz remained in the series, now renamed as the Euroformula Open Championship, with RP Motorsport. Career Karting Born in Cardiff, Parry entered karting in 2006, when he finished second in the Hoddesdon Kart Club Championship Minimax. His biggest success was in the last year of his karting career, winning the Super 1 National Rotax Max Junior championship in 2010. Status Grand Prix is a former motorsport team registered in Canada. Team history Based in Silverstone the team was formed in 2005 to run the A1 Team Ireland franchise in the new A1 Grand Prix series. The team's founders were former Jordan Grand Prix Executive Mark Gallagher and Dublin businessman Mark Kershaw.
