2015 Buffalo Bills Season
The 2015 Buffalo Bills season was the franchise’s 56th overall Season (sports), season as a football team, 46th in the National Football League, third under leadership of general manager Doug Whaley and first under new head coach Rex Ryan. It was also the first full season under the ownership of Terrence Pegula, Terry and Kim Pegula (who also own the Buffalo Sabres), having purchased the Bills partway through 2014 after the death of longtime owner Ralph Wilson in March at the age of 95. Matt Cassel
Matthew Brennan Cassel (born May 17, 1982) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons. A member of seven NFL teams, Cassel's most notable stints were with the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football at USC and was selected by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Since retiring, he has served as a television football analyst on NBC Sports Boston. Cassel began his career as a backup to Tom Brady until Brady suffered a season-ending injury in the first game of 2008. During his one season as the Patriots' starter, he helped them obtain a 11–5 record, but missed the playoffs. He was traded to the Chiefs the following year, where he played from 2009 to 2012. Marcus Easley
Marcus Landon Easley (born November 2, 1987) is a former American football wide receiver and special teamer. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Connecticut and graduated from Frank Scott Bunnell High School in Stratford, Connecticut in 2005. College career Easley was recruited out of Bunnell High School and was offered an academic scholarship to the University of Connecticut. He didn't end up receiving the scholarship, but was accepted to the school. He joined the UConn football team as a walk-on player, but didn't play until his sophomore year, when he played in 10 games, primarily on special teams and as a backup wide receiver. Jerome Jean-Marie Felton (born July 3, 1986) is a former American football fullback. He previously played for the Minnesota Vikings, where he had been a fundamental part of Adrian Peterson's success, including Peterson's 2,097 rushing yards season in 2012. He played college football at Furman, and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Jerry Ray Hughes Jr. (born August 13, 1988) is an American football defensive end for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at TCU, where he was twice recognized as a consensus All-American before being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. The 2010 New York Jets season was the franchise's 51st season overall, the team's 41st season in the National Football League and their first season at New Meadowlands Stadium.
