2015 Australian Open – Men's Doubles
Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini defeated Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut in the final, 6–4, 6–4, to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2015 Australian Open. Bolelli and Fognini's victory earned them their first Grand Slam doubles title and their third title overall as a pair. They became the first all-Italian team to win a Grand Slam since Nicola Pietrangeli and Orlando Sirola at the 1959 French Open. Łukasz Kubot and Robert Lindstedt were the defending champions, but chose not to participate together. Kubot teamed up with Jérémy Chardy, but lost in the second round to Alex Bolt and Andrew Whittington. Lindstedt played alongside Marcin Matkowski, but lost in the second round to Jonathan Erlich and Treat Huey. Simone Bolelli
Simone Bolelli (; born 8 October 1985) is an Italian professional tennis player. Bolelli is a Grand Slam champion, having won the 2015 Australian Open doubles event with Fabio Fognini, together becoming the first all-Italian men's pair to win a Grand Slam title in the Open Era. He has a career-high ATP ranking in doubles of World No. 8 achieved on 17 August 2015 and in singles of World No. 36 achieved on 23 February 2009. Treat Conrad Huey (; born August 28, 1985) is a Filipino-American tennis player who represents the Philippines in international competitions. He turned professional in 2008 and he started representing the Philippines in the Davis Cup and the Southeast Asian Games in 2009. Rohan Bopanna
Rohan Bopanna ( ; born 4 March 1980) is an Indian professional tennis player. His tennis singles, singles career-high ranking was world No. 213 in 2007 and his career-high ranking in doubles was world No. 3 on 22 July 2013. He has been a member of the Indian Davis Cup team since 2002. Bopanna partnered with Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in doubles in 2007. Horia Tecău (; born January 19, 1985) is a Romanian former professional tennis player who specialised in doubles. He is a three-time Grand Slam champion, having won the 2015 Wimbledon Championships and 2017 US Open alongside Jean-Julien Rojer in men's doubles, as well as the 2012 Australian Open with Bethanie Mattek-Sands in mixed doubles. Jean-Julien Rojer (; ; born 25 August 1981) is a Dutch professional tennis player from Curaçao, who specialises in doubles. He reached his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 3 in November 2015. He is a four-time Grand Slam champion, having won 2015 Wimbledon and 2017 US Open with Horia Tecău, the 2022 French Open with Marcelo Arévalo in men's doubles, as well as the 2014 French Open in mixed doubles alongside Anna-Lena Grönefeld.
