The 2015 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship was the 16th staging of the AVC Club Championships. The tournament was held in Vietnam. Bangkok Glass VC
Bangkok Glass Volleyball Club ( th, สโมสรวอลเลย์บอลบางกอกกล๊าส) was a Thai professional volleyball club based in Pathum Thani Province and was managed by BG FC Sport Co.,Ltd. which was a subsidiary of Bangkok Glass Group of Companies. Bangkok Glass FC played in the Thailand League after their club was founded in 2014. Their home stadium was BG Sport Hall which has a capacity of 4,000. Bangkok Glass won their first Thailand League title in 2014–15 season and the Super League in 2015. In season 2014–15, Bangkok Glass were the triple champions winning the (2014–15 Thailand League, 2015 Thailand Super League, and 2015 Asian Club Championship). 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 10th edition of the event. It was held for the first time in the Philippines, on 18–23 October 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. For the first time, eight teams competed, including four wild cards. The Philippine Super Liga and Eventcourt was in charge of organizing the tournament, together with the Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI), the national federation for volleyball. Turkey's Eczacıbaşı VitrA defeated Italy's Pomì Casalmaggiore in the final to become the first team in history to claim the title a second time after their 2015 success. The Petron Blaze Spikers were a professional women's volleyball team that played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) from 2013 to 2020. After the cancellation of the 2020 season of the PSL due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the team took a leave of absence from the league and released all its players. The team was owned by Petron Corporation. The company's involvement in volleyball began in 2002 when it established the Petron Ladies Beach Volleyball Tournament.
