2014–15 UIC Flames Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 UIC Flames men's basketball team represented the University of Illinois at Chicago in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Howard Moore, serving his fifth year. The Flames played their home games at the UIC Pavilion and were members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 10–24, 4–12 in Horizon League play to finish in seventh place. They defeated Wright State and Oakland to advance to the semifinals of the Horizon League tournament where they lost to Green Bay. On March 10, head coach Howard Moore was fired. He finished at UIC with a five-year record of 49–111. Howard Moore is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at University of Illinois at Chicago. Moore replaced Jimmy Collins as head coach of the Flames on August 23, 2010. Moore most recently served as an assistant on head coach Greg Gard's staff at Wisconsin. Kent, Ohio
Kent is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the largest city in Portage County. It is located along the Cuyahoga River in Northeast Ohio on the western edge of the county. Memorial Athletic And Convocation Center
The Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center, often referred to as the MAC Center and the MACC, is a multi-purpose arena on the campus of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, United States. The building is primarily used as an athletic venue that is home to five Kent State Golden Flashes varsity athletic teams, including the men's basketball and women's basketball teams. The 2014–15 Yale Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Yale University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulldogs, led by 16th year head coach James Jones (basketball, born 1964), James Jones, played their home games at John J. Lee Amphitheater of the Payne Whitney Gymnasium and were members of the Ivy League. The Bulldogs lost their One-game playoff against 2014–15 Harvard Crimson men's basketball team, Harvard 53-51. The Sullivan Athletic Center is an athletic facility on the campus of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. The facility houses McGrath-Phillips Arena, a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena. Beloit College
Beloit College is a private liberal arts college in Beloit, Wisconsin. Founded in 1846, when Wisconsin was still a territory, it is the state's oldest continuously operated college. It is a member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest and has an enrollment of roughly 1,400 undergraduate students.
