Turkish Women's Basketball League
The Women's Basketball Super League ( tr, Kadınlar Basketbol Süper Ligi, KBSL), also known as the Herbalife Nutrition Women's Basketball Super League for sponsorship reasons, is the top women's professional basketball division of the Turkish women's basketball league system. The league was established in 1980 and is organized by the Turkish Basketball Federation. There is also a Turkish Women’s Basketball League (TKBL), the second level in the Turkish women's basketball league system. Fenerbahçe are the most successful team in competition history, having won 16 championship titles to date. Competition system The competition is played in two phases: regular season and playoffs. There are 14 teams in the league and they play against each other twice in the league manner, once at their home and the other away. Ana Dabović (Serbian Cyrillic: Ана Дабовић; born August 18, 1989) is a Serbian professional basketball player for the BLMA of the French Ligue 1 and EuroLeague Women. Tanisha Lovely Wright (born November 29, 1983) is an American basketball coach and former player. Wright is currently the head coach of the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA. She began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Charlotte. Erlana La'Nay Larkins (born April 2, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. High school Larkins played for The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Florida, where she was named a WBCA All-American. She participated in the 2004 WBCA High School All-America Game where she scored four points. She is the school's all-time leading scorer with over 3,000 career points.
